Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Architect Enterprise Networks: Spearhead the design and implementation of scalable, secure network infrastructures utilizing Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms, specifically engineered for high-demand environments.
- Manage Advanced Routing & Switching Protocols: Expertly configure and fine-tune complex routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and EVPN to ensure optimal traffic flow and reliable connectivity across global locations.
- Implement and Maintain F5 Load Balancing Solutions: Deploy and oversee F5 solutions, leveraging custom iRules scripting to guarantee application resilience, performance, and intelligent traffic management.
- Troubleshoot Critical Network Issues: Act as the primary escalation point for diagnosing and resolving L2/L3 connectivity issues, hardware malfunctions, and VPN-related challenges within enterprise systems.
- Secure Network Infrastructure: Apply advanced security measures using technologies such as IPSec, 802.1x, TACACS+, and firewalls, while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Support Multicast and Manufacturing-Specific Protocols: Configure and maintain multicast technologies such as PIM, MSDP, and Anycast-RP to facilitate real-time data transmission in manufacturing settings.
- Lead Network Upgrades and Migrations: Drive hardware/software refresh initiatives, network expansions, and migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational continuity.
- Collaborate Across Teams and Vendors: Engage with cross-functional teams, ISPs, and hardware vendors to organize maintenance windows, address escalations, and manage RMA processes.
- Document and Standardize Network Operations: Maintain comprehensive network diagrams, configuration records, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support audit readiness and optimize troubleshooting.
- Mentor and Develop Team Talent: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and operational excellence.
Salary: $110k - $125k/yr. (D.O.E)
