About the Team and Position
Our team is dedicated to being approachable and going above and beyond to support our Carvana family. Your tasks may range from connecting a monitor to tuning a flux capacitor to precisely 1.21 gigawatts! What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will take charge of designing, planning, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT network infrastructure. Your role will involve aligning IT requirements with business needs while managing both IT and business concerns. Additionally, you will:
- Design, build, deploy, and enhance a network that supports nearly 200 sites (and counting), with some required travel.
- Create engineering standards, documentation, and drawings.
- Ensure network security by implementing and troubleshooting firewall connectivity issues.
- Monitor network performance, analyze data, and perform tuning while addressing issues like network authentication.
- Plan, implement, and maintain additional network infrastructure as needed.
