About the job
Anduril Industries is at the forefront of defense technology, dedicated to enhancing U.S. and allied military capabilities through innovation. Our mission is to revolutionize military systems using cutting-edge technologies akin to those employed by the most progressive companies of the 21st century. Our systems are driven by Lattice OS, an AI-integrated operating system that transforms vast data streams into a dynamic, real-time, 3D command and control center. As the global landscape shifts towards strategic competition, Anduril is devoted to delivering state-of-the-art autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking solutions to the military in record time.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a talented Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and maintain high-fidelity virtual models of various vehicles that Anduril designs. Your responsibilities will include developing and coordinating the deployment and upkeep of vehicle models and simulation systems for multiple ongoing programs. A key aspect of this position involves managing Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) simulation environments that facilitate safe and rapid iterations of flight control and autonomy software using real avionics hardware prior to live flight testing.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in aerospace systems and comprehend the necessary fidelity for subsystem and system-level modeling needed to integrate effectively with broader flight control and mission autonomy software. You should also be proficient in coding and software integration practices, with a strong preference for experience in HITL operations, including real-time simulation, avionics integration, and closed-loop testing with actual hardware. If you are passionate about aviation and enjoy creating physics-based digital representations of flying vehicles for testing with real hardware, this position is tailored for you!
