SUPPLY CHAIN
The Supply Chain team at Rocket Lab is pivotal in managing the flow of materials, products, and components throughout our operations. As our products serve as critical components in both our missions and those of our customers, the Supply Chain team directly influences the success of our rocket and satellite initiatives. They organize assembly kits for our technicians, oversee inventory management, handle shipping and receiving, manage procurement processes, and ensure compliance and quality standards for all materials and products. This team is the essential link that connects our various departments and contributes to our overall success.
SENIOR SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER I/II – MECHANICAL
Located at Rocket Lab's headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the Senior Supplier Development Engineer I/II – Mechanical will take on the role of the primary technical owner of our supply base for a diverse array of mechanical hardware. This position is responsible for driving the industrialization process of suppliers from initial source selection and process qualification through New Product Introduction (NPI), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and scaling up production, ensuring all suppliers are capable of delivering compliant hardware on schedule.
