About the Role
As a Senior Ground Systems Engineer - Mechanical, you will serve as a subject matter expert and key technical decision-maker, responsible for the design and development of launch range and test cell structures, mechanisms, and fluid systems. You will work on systems that endure high-vibration, harsh, and hazardous environments, ensuring they meet the strict demands of space exploration.
This position is hands-on and collaborative, requiring close cooperation with suppliers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to deliver world-class solutions. From conceptualization to commissioning, you will be pivotal in ensuring Rocket Lab's ground systems are dependable, efficient, and ready for the challenges of space.
