Keywords Studios is looking for a strategic and collaborative Senior Marketing Manager to spearhead and tailor our marketing initiatives in Japan. As the local ambassador of our global marketing team, you will ensure our brand and messaging resonate with Japanese partners in the gaming industry.
Reporting directly to the Global Director of Marketing, you will work closely with the Country Manager (Japan), Create leadership, Sales teams, and regional/global marketing colleagues. This role serves as the crucial link between Japan and the Group Marketing function, collaborating with central teams to define asset needs and utilizing our global Design Team to create high-quality, localized, or tailored creative assets for the region.
Your contributions will be vital in bolstering Keywords’ presence in Japan, enhancing the quality and consistency of our marketing communications, and facilitating commercial growth across Service Lines. By adapting global marketing strategies into culturally relevant and market-specific executions, you will play a key role in Keywords’ ongoing expansion in this strategically significant market.
Key Responsibilities
Japan Marketing Strategy & Local Adaptation
Design and execute a Japan-specific marketing strategy aligned with global goals.
Localize global messaging, brand positioning, and value propositions for Japanese audiences.
Deliver market insights to global stakeholders, emphasizing opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape.
Cross-Service Line Collaboration & Representation
Act as the main marketing representative in Japan, showcasing the capabilities and offerings of Create, Globalize, and Engage.
Work alongside Sales, Create leadership, and regional Service Lines to ensure cohesive communication and market positioning.
Assist in crafting integrated proposals and solution packages tailored for Japanese clients.
Marketing Content, Campaigns & Brand Visibility
Content Strategy & Asset Creation: Lead the content strategy and asset creation process. Write creative briefs and collaborate with Group Marketing and the internal Design Team to produce high-quality localized assets, pitch decks, case studies, one-pagers, and custom creative for the Japanese market.
Website Management: Oversee and maintain the Japanese version of the Keywords Studios website, ensuring content is current, culturally relevant, SEO-optimized, and in line with global brand standards.
Social Media Engagement: Manage and expand local corporate social media channels (e.g., X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook), focusing on community engagement and compelling copywriting.
