As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will collaborate with core team members and contribute significantly to sustaining and enhancing existing manufacturing processes to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead duplication, line transfer, and operational activities on the manufacturing line.
- Provide engineering support daily for in-house manufacturing lines.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, throughput, and reduce costs by utilizing analytical data and statistical analysis to set metrics and prioritize goals.
- Conduct root cause investigations and manage resolutions for assembly-related defects.
- Facilitate design improvements for existing products, including:
- Leading Design Verification and Validation (V&V) builds
- Coordinating production cut-ins/implementations
- Design and develop assembly/test fixtures to optimize cycle time, repeatability, and consistency in complex assembly operations.
- Refine and specify BOMs, workflows/travelers, and detailed work instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Production, Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, Supplier Engineering, Project Management) to enhance processes and manufacturing line performance.
- Create and update manufacturing-related validation and risk documents including IQ/OQ/PQ/PPQ protocols, Process FMEAs, Manufacturing Line Specifications, and Equipment Specifications.
