THE ROLE
We are on the lookout for a driven Senior Manager, Domestic Tax to enhance our Corporate Tax team, reporting directly to the U.S. Domestic Tax Director. This pivotal role encompasses the comprehensive management of U.S. federal and state income tax compliance, including overseeing all domestic income tax filings, estimated tax payments, and return-related analytics. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach, robust technical proficiency, and the capacity to navigate the complete tax compliance lifecycle in a fast-paced setting.
You will collaborate closely with another Senior Tax Manager who oversees the Global & U.S. income tax provision process, providing essential inputs, analytics, and support as part of the quarterly and annual ASC 740 process, contributing to the global tax provision as necessary.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Income Tax Compliance – Primary Focus
- Take ownership of the entire U.S. federal and state income tax return compliance process, including the preparation, review, and timely submission of all necessary returns.
- Oversee extensions, estimated tax calculations, payments, and compliance workflows comprehensively.
- Coordinate and manage external service providers to guarantee high-quality and efficient compliance deliverables.
- Ensure all tax positions are robustly supported, documented, and compliant with current tax laws.
- Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional partners to gather and validate necessary compliance data.
U.S. Income Tax Provision – Secondary Focus
- Collaborate with the Senior Tax Manager responsible for the Global income tax provision to assist with the quarterly and annual ASC 740 process.
- Prepare and/or review inputs and supporting components for the U.S. income tax provision, including stock-based compensation, uncertain tax positions, valuation allowance assessments, and footnote disclosures.
