About the Role
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in a significant platform transformation aimed at enhancing our developer experience and CI/CD stack. Your responsibilities will include migrating numerous repositories from Jenkins to GitHub Actions while integrating an AI-First approach into our engineering practices. This is a globally distributed role that offers significant ownership and the opportunity to lead the creation of reliable, observable, and cost-efficient pipelines that thousands of engineers depend on for fast-tracking feature delivery and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Transformation: Spearhead the design, planning, and execution of the Jenkins-to-GitHub Actions migration across a vast portfolio of microservices.
- Pipeline Engineering: Architect and optimize high-performance, secure, and observable CI/CD workflows across GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Kubernetes environments.
- AI-First Automation: Propel an AI-First workflow utilizing tools (e.g., Copilot, code generation) to minimize infrastructure toil, expedite development, and troubleshoot pipeline failures.
- Core Automation: Engineer robust platform automation (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) to enhance build efficiency, artifact caching, reliability, and repository hygiene.
- Security & Compliance: Strengthen CI/CD infrastructure by implementing solid controls for secrets management, RBAC, audit logging, and security compliance.
