ABOUT THE TEAM
The Manufacturing team at Anduril is on the lookout for a Senior Industrial Engineer to enhance our manufacturing optimization efforts. This team is tasked with the rapid iteration and production of advanced defense hardware, including static equipment, ground vehicles, sensors, undersea systems, and aircraft, while scaling these products across both existing and new manufacturing facilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing Anduril’s manufacturing operations to ensure quality, reliability, speed, and asset utilization while adhering to critical customer deployment and internal development timelines. You will employ a data-driven methodology to design production lines and manufacturing processes, collaborating closely with various teams including Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Business Operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and sustain capacity models and production ramp plans to outline labor planning, capital expenditure requirements, workstation design, and throughput deficiencies.
- Create efficient facility layouts and production lines utilizing CAD and simulation to meet process demands, achieve production targets, optimize resource allocation and material flow, and enhance productivity and quality.
- Identify and advocate for improvements addressing the primary causes of production variability or bottlenecks, facilitating resolutions across disciplines and stakeholders.
- Utilize a data-driven approach for production design and process enhancements to elevate throughput.
- Oversee the reporting and analysis of production metrics to inform and guide operational decisions.
