About the job
Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Senior Human Resources Business Partner acts as a trusted strategic advisor to corporate function leaders in Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Procurement, Marketing, Retail (brands), and Operational Excellence. You will play a key and influential role among vice presidents and senior executives. Your contributions will support business objectives by aligning HR strategies and practices with organizational priorities while guiding managers throughout the employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership
- Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand challenges and priorities of corporate functions, proposing tailored, value-added, concrete, and measurable HR solutions.
- Act as a change agent among leadership teams, supporting organizational transformation.
- Serve as the primary contact between managers and the specialized HR team (organizational development and training, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, change management, etc.), ensuring alignment of HR programs with departmental needs.
Talent Lifecycle and Operational Excellence
- Support managers throughout the full HR cycle:
- Workforce planning and organizational structure evolution;
- Talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention;
- Performance management and contribution management;
- Disciplinary management and dispute resolution;
- Recognition and bonuses;
- Salary adjustments, annual reviews, and bonuses;
- Succession planning, talent development, and career development;
- Skills development and training;
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, programs, and practices;
- Ensure compliance with provincial legislation.
Leadership Development
- Advise, coach, and inspire managers to enhance their leadership skills.
- Facilitate the management of difficult conversations, ongoing feedback, and personalized development plans.
- Contribute to the harmonization, application, and compliance with corporate policies and applicable laws; Culture, engagement, and mobilization.
- Act as an ambassador for organizational culture, promoting our values, mission, and vision;
- Design and support initiatives fostering engagement.
