LEAP Program Overview
Global Solutions Ventures (GSV), a partnership between ZemiTek, LLC and Dexis Consulting Group, is executing the Long-term Exceptional Technical Assistance Project (LEAP Global). Initially established by USAID to combat infectious diseases including malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases, and pandemic influenza, LEAP Global transitioned to the U.S. Department of State (DOS) as of July 1, 2025. This initiative tackles the complex human resource challenges encountered by national infectious disease programs in countries supported by the U.S.
The project involves hiring and embedding technical expert advisors and subject matter specialists within government entities. By integrating this expertise within national programs, LEAP Global provides sustainable, life-saving support that enables host governments to effectively manage their infectious disease portfolios while enhancing coordination between the U.S. Government and the host nation.
Position Summary
The Senior Global Health Security (GHS) Advisor will primarily assist the National Public Health Agency (NPHA) in delivering life-saving humanitarian assistance (LHA) services in accordance with U.S. Presidential Executive Order directives and the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) implementation plan. The Advisor will provide technical support focused on the prevention, detection, and response to infectious disease threats affecting public health.
This role will involve collaborating with relevant multi-sectoral Government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies—such as the Ministries of Health, Agriculture, and Environment—to ensure the effective adoption and execution of life-saving interventions aimed at mitigating infectious disease threats.
