GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (GZA) is looking for an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer/Project Manager with over 6 years of expertise to become an integral part of our dedicated Western Massachusetts Geotechnical/Civil Engineering team. This role involves contributing to diverse infrastructure projects, including transportation, energy, water resources, and building initiatives. The successful candidate will act as a key representative for GZA, engaging with clients throughout proposal, contract, and project execution phases while ensuring the successful management of both technical and financial elements of projects.

Your Responsibilities:
- Overseeing project teams, delegating tasks to office and field staff, and managing daily project activities.
- Monitoring project performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and budgetary constraints.
- Conducting oversight and execution of technical design deliverables in alignment with QA/QC standards.
- Drafting proposals and reviewing/writing geotechnical deliverables under the guidance of a Principal.
- Engaging in staff mentoring, training, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required; a Master’s degree with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred.
- Proven experience in designing and constructing deep and shallow foundations for buildings, bridges, retaining walls, and other structures, along with slope stability analyses and geotechnical evaluations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple office and field tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership, delegation, and team-building abilities.
- Established computer skills utilizing MS Office and geotechnical engineering software (experience with SEEP/W, SLOPE/W, L-pile, DeepEX, or similar programs is advantageous).
- Willingness to work locally and regionally; a valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation to/from work are required.
