ABOUT ROCKET LAB
Rocket Lab is a pioneering space technology company dedicated to providing agile launch services, comprehensive spacecraft design and manufacturing, alongside payloads and satellite components, all with the mission of democratizing access to space. The rockets and satellites we engineer and launch support some of the most ambitious and critical space missions worldwide, including scientific exploration, Earth observation, climate change initiatives, national security, and innovative technology demonstrations.
Our Electron rocket has established itself as the second most frequently launched U.S. rocket on an annual basis, successfully deploying over 230 satellites into orbit. Simultaneously, we are developing Neutron, our forthcoming medium-lift, reusable launch vehicle designed for large constellation deployments. Our Space Systems division is responsible for designing and manufacturing a diverse array of satellites, payloads, and components, including spacecraft selected for NASA's missions to the Moon and Mars, as well as components utilized in the James Webb Space Telescope.
SPACE SYSTEMS
At Rocket Lab, we’re not just launching rockets — we are forging the future of space exploration. Our Space Systems team is responsible for the development of everything from complete spacecraft and precision payloads to the components and subsystems essential for their success in space, such as solar panels, flight software, star trackers, optical systems, separation systems, and radios.
Having facilitated over 1,700 missions ranging from interplanetary exploration to in-space manufacturing and national security, our team has built spacecraft, payloads, and components for missions to both the Moon and Mars, collaborating with notable partners including NASA, the Space Development Agency, and the U.S. Space Force. Whether delivering a singular high-performance spacecraft or an entire constellation, our elite Space Systems team is empowering some of the most daring and ambitious space missions.
