Location and Benefits

What You'll Do
We seek a seasoned technical leader with a robust electrical engineering background to help shape the future of robotics through modern, best-in-class software engineering practices. You will work at the intersection of hardware and software, closely collaborating with electrical, controls, and advanced software teams to create reliable, observable, and debuggable systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain embedded firmware for real-time motor control, sensing, and system monitoring.
- Debug complex system-level issues that may involve software, firmware, hardware, or component behaviors.
- Utilize hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters to identify timing, signaling, and electrical issues.
- Serve as a technical liaison between hardware and software teams, collaborating closely with electrical engineers, controls specialists, motion planners, and systems engineers.
- Guide leadership on strategic technical decisions.
- Mentor and support fellow engineers and peers in technical and personal growth.
- Drive technical decision-making and implementation through hands-on, deep technical work.
