The Cronos Group is seeking talented and motivated Senior Financial Analysts to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is instrumental in developing and utilizing business analytics across various operational units. You will collaborate with development partners, IT, and key stakeholders to deliver timely and impactful reporting and analytical tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyze financial data, including budgets and income statement forecasts, aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
- Provide innovative alternatives and recommendations to enhance financial performance and reduce costs.
- Assemble and summarize data to create sophisticated reports on financial status and associated risks.
- Develop financial models and conduct benchmarking and process analysis.
- Perform business studies on past and future performance, creating detailed forecast models.
- Identify financial trends and offer actionable insights to senior management based on thorough analyses.
- Monitor financial status by comparing actual results against projections.
- Consult with management to influence long-term strategic decision-making.
- Drive initiatives for process improvement and policy development impacting the financial function.
- Build and maintain financial reports within the company’s financial reporting system.
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining automated financial reports and dashboards for internal management, ensuring accurate and timely recommendations.
- Extract and analyze data to evaluate the financial effects of new initiatives, effectively communicating findings to senior leadership.
- Support ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training employees, and overseeing performance management.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution, or three to five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A degree in Finance, Information Technology, or Accounting is preferred. Advanced Excel skills are essential, and experience with JD Edwards and Hyperion is advantageous. A valid driver’s license may also be required.
