The Role
As we expand, we are enhancing our General & Administrative Finance team with an expert capable of structuring, guiding, and unlocking value across complex intersections of finance, strategy, and operations.
You will assume a cross-functional position, collaborating closely with leadership and operational teams, directly influencing the company's structure and management.
Responsibilities
Actively contribute to the financial and strategic management of the company.
Establish processes for in-depth analysis, reporting, and decision support.
Identify and implement financing and optimization strategies.
Assist in the formalization of strategic initiatives and ensure their operational execution.
Enhance collaboration between finance, product development, and leadership teams.
Support efforts to communicate and showcase the company's activities to both internal and external stakeholders.
R&D Financing & Innovation
Manage the comprehensive oversight of innovation financing schemes, including Research Tax Credit (CIR), JEI status, public grants, and exceptional funding programs (BPI, European funds, etc.).
Ensure meticulous tracking, control, and documentation of eligible R&D projects, in close cooperation with engineering teams.
Cultivate a thorough understanding of R&D projects to effectively translate their substance into a financial and regulatory context.
Guarantee compliance for submitted documentation and optimize the return on investments in innovation.
Profile
A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, strategy, management control, or comparable roles.
Comfortable navigating technical environments and adept at grasping complex subjects.
Strong analytical skills paired with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
A collaborative mindset, able to work across teams and functions effectively.
