Our Space Systems division creates and manufactures a wide range of satellites, payloads, and essential components, including spacecraft selected for NASA missions to the Moon and Mars, and critical components for the James Webb Space Telescope.
SPACE SYSTEMS
At Rocket Lab, we are not merely launching rockets; we are shaping the future of space exploration. Our Space Systems team is responsible for building everything from complete spacecraft and precision payloads to the subsystems that ensure their success in space, such as solar panels, flight software, star trackers, and optical systems.
Having facilitated over 1,700 missions that include interplanetary exploration, in-space manufacturing, and defense initiatives, our team has collaborated with esteemed partners like NASA, the Space Development Agency, and the U.S. Space Force to construct spacecraft, payloads, and components for missions to the Moon and Mars. Whether it’s a singular high-performance spacecraft or an entire constellation, our world-class Space Systems team empowers some of the boldest and most ambitious space missions.
SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER I/II
The Optical Systems division at Rocket Lab tackles mission-critical challenges in the space domain and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) for Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) clients.
