We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Battery Management Systems to lead the development of electronic systems across various micromobility platforms.
Your Responsibilities
Take ownership of the electrical battery hardware development, specifying both hardware and software requirements.
Lead the PCBA development process, including subsystem architecture, schematic capture, layout design, and validation through to production ramp-up.
Plan project schedules, development phases, testing resources, and oversee EOL activities with contract manufacturers.
Conduct simulations, analyses, and validations of critical circuits, including worst-case circuit analysis.
Collaborate with mechanical teams for optimal packaging and thermal management.
Work alongside firmware and control teams to integrate hardware and develop control strategies.
Engage with systems engineering to define and validate product requirements covering cost, performance, reliability, and regulatory concerns.
Partner with functional safety specialists to identify critical diagnostics and protection circuits, ensuring robust design implementations.
Prepare DFMEA, PFMEA, and validation plans.
Conduct hands-on integration and testing activities, while guiding and collaborating with testing peers and external resources such as certification labs and contract manufacturers.
What We Seek
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in board-level design for battery-powered electrical systems.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to thrive in a highly cooperative environment.
Proficient in circuit design and analysis, with hands-on experience in testing and validation.
