ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Senior Director of Pharmacy Clinical Consulting and Plan Performance is a pivotal leadership position dedicated to steering clinical consulting services and enhancing the performance metrics of our partner plans. This role requires a seasoned clinical expert who will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, spearheading initiatives aimed at improving clinical outcomes, driving cost efficiency, and optimizing overall plan performance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for managing client plan performance across our business portfolio.
- Act as a clinical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the client services team and clients, providing strategic guidance and direction.
- Work closely with strategic account leads and senior leaders to ensure alignment of departmental goals with overall organizational objectives.
- Clinical Consulting Services:
- Oversee the provision of high-quality, evidence-based clinical consulting services to clients.
- Guide clinical pharmacists in delivering consultative services alongside the client services team.
- Design and implement clinical programs in collaboration with internal stakeholders, aligning with client strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
- Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of clinical interventions and programs, making necessary adjustments.
- Plan Performance Optimization:
- Analyze pharmacy benefit plan performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for enhancement.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design and implement performance improvement initiatives.
- Provide ongoing guidance to the client services team and their clients.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
- Act as a subject matter expert in pharmacy clinical consulting and plan performance, offering support to clients and internal teams.
- Engage in client meetings, presentations, and consultations to discuss strategies related to clinical and plan performance.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Implement and uphold quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our services.
