Position Summary
The Senior Director of Clinical Denials will act as the primary clinical authority, guiding clients in denial prevention, appeal strategies, payer policy compliance, and industry education. This pivotal role leverages the vendor’s clinical expertise to partner with provider clients, optimizing revenue integrity, enhancing appeal outcomes, and mitigating denial risks. The Senior Director of Clinical Denials will deliver advanced consultative guidance, support process design, mentor internal teams, and ensure excellence in all engagements related to clinical denials. The ideal candidate is a seasoned clinical professional with substantial inpatient experience, a successful history of collaboration with clinicians and payers, adeptness in root cause analysis for denials, and an in-depth understanding of payer behaviors and regulatory requirements.
