About the Role
As the Senior Director of Business Development, you will forge and nurture essential business partnerships that drive growth for OM1's Life Sciences division. This role requires leveraging your extensive network and developing new relationships to create valuable business opportunities.
What You’ll Do at OM1
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of real-world data, evidence, and outcomes research best practices.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and sustain robust, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, acquiring deep knowledge of their organizations.
- Engage in networking within the industry to establish connections and recognize potential opportunities.
- Stay informed regarding competitive activities, market positioning, and pricing strategies.
- Continuously monitor the status of leads and opportunities to sustain a healthy pipeline.
- Evaluate potential opportunities and devise tailored sales strategies for each customer account.
- Ensure appropriate strategies and solutions are proposed to customers, tracking actions and outcomes against established plans.
- Plan and execute all customer sales activities, including leading meetings, creating presentations, and drafting proposals.
- Enhance brand recognition; collaborate with Project Managers to assess customer satisfaction and project progress.
- Manage follow-ups related to sales and ensure completion of contractual agreements.
- Utilize CRM tools to generate reports and dashboards that analyze business development and sales activities.
- Maintain high visibility within the customer organization.
- Share best practices with fellow business development peers to encourage effective sales behaviors.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the company to formulate necessary sales strategies where applicable.
