As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with Assent’s Cloud Operations and Engineering teams to design, develop, and implement robust continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) solutions. You will take charge of establishing and maintaining development and testing environments while creating and sustaining configurations for all supporting software deployments. Your leadership will drive the automation and streamlining of our code integration and deployment processes.
In our high-trust CI/CD environment, every commit is sent to production, necessitating that your code is testable, reliable, and production-ready. You will have full ownership of system quality.
Our tech stack includes:
- AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
- GitHub for version control
- Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- .NET 8 for application development
- Monitoring and observability tools including OpenTelemetry, Datadog, New Relic, and Kibana

- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD systems for high-frequency, reliable deployments
- Write Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and manage secure, scalable cloud environments
- Maintain and manage AWS resources, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Cloud Operations teams to design, implement, and support scalable infrastructure and services
- Enhance observability leveraging OpenTelemetry, New Relic, and Kibana
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members
- Develop strategies for scaling infrastructure to meet future growth, including capacity planning and load testing
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to boost system performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and corporate policies
