ROLE SUMMARY
Khan Academy seeks a Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with our Chief Learning Officer and product leadership to enhance user engagement and improve student outcomes. We are looking for enthusiastic and inquisitive professionals who can leverage their technical expertise to extract insights from our extensive datasets and partner across the organization to inform strategic decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with product teams to formulate theories of action that outline testable hypotheses regarding the impact of new features.
- Establish and evaluate the success of initiatives through goal setting, forecasting, event instrumentation, monitoring, and ongoing analysis of core outcome metrics.
- Conduct exploratory analyses on our comprehensive datasets to uncover insights about teacher and learner behavior and guide product roadmap and investment decisions.
- Utilize your statistical expertise to quantify the effects of various features, programs, and interventions, influencing strategic choices.
