The Role
We are in search of a proactive and product-focused Senior Data Scientist. This role is ideal for someone who does not wait for questions to be perfectly defined and who thrives in a collaborative environment. Your insights will help us understand customer challenges, identify new opportunities, and drive innovative ideas forward.
You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to influence our development, rationale behind our projects, and our success metrics. Your contributions will directly enhance customer-facing features such as LTV prediction, experimentation and statistical significance testing, benchmarking, and the development of new data-driven products.
Expect to bring forth ideas supported by robust analysis and clear hypotheses, steering product direction with your data expertise.
Our data infrastructure encompasses a Python backend, PostgreSQL production databases, Snowflake, dbt, and AWS.
What You Will Do
Actively analyze RevenueCat’s data to uncover customer issues, opportunities, and potential product innovations.
Translate vague product and business inquiries into precise analyses, models, and actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with Product Managers to define and influence roadmaps, rather than merely executing them.
Design, develop, and deploy production-quality predictive and descriptive models that enhance customer-facing functionalities.
Establish and assess statistical strategies for experimentation, benchmarking, and forecasting.
Effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, focusing on customer impact.
Continuously refine deployed models and features based on user feedback and real-world performance.
This position entails substantial ownership. Your role will not just be about supporting decisions; you will actively shape the direction of our initiatives.
