Overview
We are a rapidly expanding, nine-figure DTC apparel brand searching for a dynamic Senior Creative Strategist with extensive experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments (annual revenues of $100M+). This pivotal role demands a proactive operator who excels in constructing creative systems that enhance revenue, ensure efficient scaling, and effectively convert cold audiences.
As the owner of our creative strategy across the marketing funnel, you will be responsible for translating data into actionable strategies and overseeing the execution from concept to final asset and scaling. Key Responsibilities
Creative Direction & Strategy
- Establish creative strategies across various channels, including paid social media, organic content, influencer partnerships, email campaigns, landing pages, and emerging platforms.
- Design and manage comprehensive testing frameworks for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital channels.
- Create scalable creative systems, including hooks, modular scripts, user-generated content (UGC) pipelines, demonstration formats, review-driven advertisements, and angle matrices.
- Transform qualitative insights and quantitative data into high-impact concepts that generate revenue.
Brand Storytelling
- Refine and enhance the brand voice to resonate emotionally, modernize its tone, and focus on conversion.
- Develop engaging narratives that build a deeper connection with customers while driving measurable business results.
- Translate the founder's vision, customer psychology, and market insights into compelling creative story arcs.
Performance Optimization
- Monitor and analyze creative performance metrics, such as hook rate, scroll-hold duration, cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and fatigue trends.
- Identify successful themes and underperforming elements with clear, actionable strategies for improvement.
- Maintain a rapid refresh pipeline to ensure stability, scalability, and efficiency in paid social campaigns.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Collaborate closely with Media Buying, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Influencer, and Product teams to align creative efforts with growth objectives.
- Engage directly with founders and senior executives on overarching strategy, direction, and performance metrics.
- Lead weekly creative reviews and facilitate swift iteration processes.
Creative Team Leadership
- Guide internal designers, editors, UGC creators, and external production partners.
- Produce outstanding briefs, scripts, shot lists, and content frameworks.
Ensure all creative collaborators have clear expectations, metrics for success, and defined criteria for performance.
