As a Senior Counsel at Quickbase, you will play a pivotal role in delivering legal support to our sales team, enabling them to achieve and surpass their sales objectives. Your expertise will also extend to providing contract review and general legal guidance across various business sectors, including product development, security, marketing, and human resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and draft a variety of commercial contracts, including Software as a Service (SaaS) agreements, software license agreements, confidentiality agreements, support and services agreements, partner agreements, and other purchasing agreements.
- Draft and negotiate contracts for State and Local Government and Education (SLED) as well as Federal Government contracts pertaining to SaaS, services, and software.
- Oversee and enhance the procurement process by creating playbooks and documentation, while also updating templates as necessary.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for the business on pertinent legal topics and best practices, along with implementing enablement programs and playbooks.
- Generate responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other inquiries for SLED, federal government, and private sector clients.
- Assist with various legal department projects, including the creation and implementation of templates, training, playbooks, policies, and processes, particularly regarding security and privacy compliance.
- Provide general legal advice on a day-to-day basis.
- Collaborate with other attorneys on legal team initiatives and fulfill additional related duties as required.
