About the Role
As the Senior Compliance Product Manager, you will spearhead the development of the systems and programs that ensure Dandy's compliance as we enter new international markets. You will take ownership of the strategy, definition, and execution of essential compliance infrastructure concerning areas such as data residency, healthcare data security, and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, EU Data Act, French HDS).
Key Responsibilities
Define Product Strategies and Roadmaps: Collaborate with Legal, Security, and Engineering teams to interpret regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HDS, EU Data Act) into actionable product specifications and a prioritized compliance roadmap.
Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison among legal, security, engineering, and business stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication regarding compliance initiatives, risks, and strategic trade-offs.
Facilitate Technical Decision-Making: Lead the technical exploration and decision-making processes for compliance architecture, ensuring our global platform is secure, efficient, and resilient to meet varied international standards.
Identify and Mitigate Challenges: Proactively detect and resolve cross-team dependencies, resource conflicts, and execution barriers to prevent delays in project delivery.
Manage External Compliance Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with external compliance vendors, auditing partners, and international legal advisors to align on local regulatory requirements and facilitate entry into new markets.
Qualifications
2-5+ years of experience in product management or technical program management, successfully steering complex software initiatives from concept through launch and post-launch optimization.
Strong technical acumen with a solid understanding of system architecture, APIs, infrastructure, and associated technical dependencies.
Proven ability to navigate regulatory environments and implement compliance frameworks effectively.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building consensus among diverse stakeholders.
Experience in managing relationships with external partners and navigating international regulatory landscapes is a plus.
