Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is in search of a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer who will play a pivotal role in enabling teams and provisioning secure, scalable cloud services. You will be tasked with optimizing system performance, enforcing robust security measures, and maintaining operational reliability across diverse cloud environments. As an integral member of a multi-cloud configuration team, you'll engage in Agile scrum processes and will be well-versed in various development tools and technologies. Collaborating with application teams, SRE/DevOps, security, and networking, you'll deliver resilient workloads and expedite delivery through CI/CD practices. We welcome engineers who demonstrate a proactive approach to solving complex challenges with innovative solutions.
Work You'll Do:
- Assess the technical requirements of the organization and recommend appropriate cloud solutions.
- Work closely with development teams to design and implement cloud solutions that align with business objectives.
- Establish least-privilege IAM, role-based access, and just-in-time elevation for administrative actions.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules (such as Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation) for standardized provisioning of VPC/VNet, subnets, gateways, compute resources, storage, managed databases, messaging services, and IAM roles.
- Implement service enablement frameworks that streamline team onboarding.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging cloud technologies.
Here's What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field.
