About the job
As a Senior Cloud DevOps Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing automated infrastructure and connectivity solutions that enhance our global digital footprint. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create secure, scalable, and resilient network architectures tailored to the needs of Software Engineering, Security, and Cloud Operations. Your hands-on expertise will be integral in developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and working alongside system architects to connect traditional networking with modern cloud-native deployments. Stay at the forefront of the evolving cloud landscape, maintaining deep knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN), CI/CD pipelines, and hybrid-cloud connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Design & Automation: Lead the assessment of stakeholder needs to craft robust cloud network architectures. Utilize IaC tools (e.g., Terraform) to automate the provisioning of VPCs, subnets, transit gateways, and load balancers.
- Stakeholder Communication: Clearly articulate the network architecture vision and project updates to internal stakeholders, including Engineering leadership and Security teams. Ensure transparency regarding network performance, cost-effectiveness, and compliance standards.
- Cloud Service Evaluation: Collaborate with cloud service providers and third-party vendors to assess networking and security tools (e.g., SASE, Firewalls, Service Mesh). Model total cost of ownership (TCO) and ROI, ensuring solutions align with company security standards and regulatory mandates.
