As part of the Product Engineering team, you will help design and develop a robust suite of features, frameworks, and functionalities that drive TRM’s growth. We are seeking a pragmatic backend engineer passionate about crafting reliable and scalable software solutions that serve all TRM customers. You will also design backend APIs while considering customer experience and system performance.
As an integral early member of our team, you will engage deeply in our technical processes and operational practices, contributing to the speed, quality, and overall impact of TRM, as we strive to enhance the financial system for billions of individuals.
This role is based in our San Francisco office. Employees in this position are expected to work from the office at least three (3) days per week to facilitate in-person collaboration and team engagement.
Your Impact:
Tackle complex engineering challenges that enhance your technical, project management, and interpersonal skills.
Develop and maintain public APIs that are integral to our API Product suite.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional visions into actionable roadmaps with clear outcomes.
Support internal business units through shared engineering services and functionalities.
Build cross-functional relationships across the organization to understand and empower their missions from start to finish.
Experience in designing and building scalable systems, web applications, APIs, and services. While our backend is built in Node.js, prior experience in Node.js is not mandatory; we believe skills can be developed on the job.
