Oracle Cloud Support: Ensure the proper functioning of the General Ledger (GL) and Fixed Assets (FA) modules, actively engaging in the resolution of integration errors and parameterization issues.
Interdepartmental Interface (Finance): Critically analyze Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, and Cost transactions, identifying root causes of discrepancies that impact financial closure.
Complex Reconciliations: Perform and review reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts, with a focus on US-GAAP versus BR-GAAP variations.
Audit Compliance: Lead internal and external audit engagements, ensuring compliance with SOX standards and local legislation.
Corporate Reporting: Responsible for monthly and quarterly reports (HFM/Hyperion), ensuring the accuracy of data extracted from Oracle.
Tax Obligations: Deliver SPED (ECD/ECF), IBGE, and calculations for IRPJ/CSLL (Real Profit).
Process Improvement: Implement workflow enhancements to reduce manual effort and increase automation within the ERP system.
Accounting Closure and Reporting: Lead the monthly accounting closure schedule, ensuring that all interfaces from auxiliary modules (AP, AR, FA, Cost) are properly processed and reconciled in the GL within corporate deadlines.
Management of Critical Entries: Execute and review complex accounting entries (provisions, reversals, audit adjustments, and reclassifications), ensuring the correct application of cost centers and accounts within the Oracle structure.
Analysis and Study of Operations: Conduct technical studies of atypical accounting operations or new business fronts, defining appropriate accounting treatment under BR-GAAP and US-GAAP, and parameterizing these rules in the system as needed.
Fixed Asset Management (FA): Manage the lifecycle of assets in the Oracle Cloud FA module (capitalization/CIP, disposals, transfers, and depreciation). Troubleshoot integration errors with Purchasing/AP and ensure full reconciliation with the General Ledger.
