Accounting at Brex
The Accounting team at Brex is vital in delivering precise and timely financial information to stakeholders, guiding the business's growth. We do more than just close the books; we innovate, optimize, and enhance processes in close partnership with other departments. Our team is not only skilled in accounting but also serves as thought leaders for Brex's own financial products, showcasing a blend of ownership and a product-oriented mindset.
Your Role
As a Senior Accountant within our Accounts Payable team, you will be instrumental in upholding the integrity of our financial records and enhancing processes as we scale. You will engage with various aspects including credit card and treasury products, intercompany transactions, expense accruals, legal entity reporting, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analysis. A detail-oriented approach and creative problem-solving skills will be key as you manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality standards.
Work Environment
This position is based in our San Francisco office, operating in a hybrid model that balances in-office interactions with the flexibility of remote work. Currently, we require at least two coordinated days in the office each week (Wednesday and Thursday), transitioning to three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday) starting February 2, 2026. Additionally, we offer up to four weeks of fully remote work each year!
