About the Role
We are on the lookout for a Senior Account Manager to lead and expand our portfolio of commercial accounts throughout the Americas. This role is tailored for a strategic and proactive account leader who excels at identifying growth opportunities, fostering value-driven discussions, and confidently engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels.
While nurturing solid customer relationships and ensuring renewal success is vital, this position emphasizes proactive account growth, strategic planning, and the ability to effectively showcase the value of Mattermost through engaging discovery sessions and product demonstrations.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and oversee a portfolio of commercial customer accounts across the Americas region.
- Identify and pursue expansion opportunities (upsell, cross-sell, increased adoption) within existing customer accounts.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans, encompassing stakeholder mapping, whitespace analysis, and engagement strategies.
- Lead customer discovery discussions to unearth business objectives, technical requirements, and success measures.
- Provide product demonstrations and value-based presentations tailored for technical, business, and executive audiences.
- Engage with customer stakeholders at all levels, including senior and executive leadership, positioning Mattermost as a strategic partner.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure successful renewal outcomes and expansion initiatives.
- Steer renewal and expansion negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
