The Security Technician II will oversee all aspects of access control and IP camera systems at client locations. This role requires the ability to independently install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic devices, power supplies, and network components. Effective communication with the Field Supervisor and a professional appearance when interacting with customers is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Security Technician, you will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working independently to uphold the security hardware requirements for both the client and Unlimited Technology.
- Install and service access control and IP camera systems following engineered drawings.
- Possess programming skills related to the UT product line.
- Program, terminate, and commission a variety of access control products and platforms.
- Identify and resolve issues that may hinder job productivity.
- Complete all necessary paperwork related to job tickets thoroughly.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Communicate all activities to the Project Manager or Field Supervisor promptly.
- Ensure the cleanliness and condition of any company-provided vehicle.
- Maintain a safe driving record and report any incidents to management immediately.
- Attend required product or safety training sessions.
