Job Summary:
As a Satellite Operations Engineer at Lynk, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational integrity and safety of our Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation. Your key responsibilities include performing technical reviews and assessments of satellite telemetry, analyzing performance trends, leading investigations into anomalies, conducting technical trades that influence satellite operations, and developing operational concepts and strategies. You will also oversee satellite launches and initial operational phases, while contributing to the enhancement of data analysis tools and operational workflows.
Working closely with the Principal Satellite Operations Systems Engineer, you will engage in system-level investigations and contribute to the strategic direction of our operations. This position requires a strong technical background, and the ideal candidate will be adept at navigating ambiguity to develop a clear understanding of system behaviors and operational methods.
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct daily reviews of satellite telemetry data and alarms to ensure the health and performance of the satellite constellation.
Lead end-to-end anomaly investigations, from detection through root cause analysis to corrective actions, implementing long-lasting solutions.
Participate in technical trades to optimize operations, taking into account various operational factors.
