Role Overview
We are seeking a driven Sales Manager to develop and scale a robust sales pipeline for ticketing and experiences within Qatar.
This role emphasizes the origination of partnerships with event organizers, venues, experience providers, and promoters. The ideal candidate will possess a well-established local network, exceptional negotiation skills, and a proactive, hunter mentality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pipeline Development & Deal Origination
- Develop and maintain a solid sales pipeline for:
- Live events (concerts, sports, cultural events)
- Experiences (attractions, tours, lifestyle experiences)
- Proactively identify and engage:
- Event organizers and promoters
- Venues and experience operators
- Entertainment and lifestyle partners
- Manage the entire sales cycle:
- Lead generation → pitching → negotiation → deal closure → onboarding handover
2. Partnerships & Relationship Management
- Utilize existing local connections to establish valuable partnerships.
- Forge long-term, trust-based relationships with partners.
- Act as the main commercial point of contact for designated partners.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across the platform.
3. Market Development & Strategy
- Spot white spaces and gaps in the local ticketing and experiences market.
- Provide valuable market insights regarding:
- Pricing models
- Commission structures
- Product and feature requirements
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Product) to ensure successful launches and campaigns.
4. Performance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate tracking and forecasting of the sales pipeline.
- Report on:
- Pipeline value
- Closed deals
- Revenue contributions
- Meet agreed-upon commercial targets and KPIs.
