The Sales Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations and profitability of both the New and Pre-Owned Vehicle Departments, including the Finance sector. This individual is key to ensuring customer satisfaction and retention, achieved through effective hiring, training, and performance evaluation of our sales team, along with establishing customer-centric sales standards.
- Provide coaching to the sales team on effective closing techniques through training and active involvement.
- Oversee all showroom activities for a large sales team.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, discuss vehicle options, and support the sales team in closing deals.
- Recruit, motivate, and evaluate the performance of all new and used vehicle sales personnel.
- Conduct daily and weekly sales meetings and training sessions.
- Guide both new and seasoned sales representatives on best practices to enhance performance.
- Analyze and monitor sales team performance metrics.
- Contribute to the development of advertising campaigns and promotional activities.
- Ensure diligent follow-up with all prospective buyers by developing, implementing, and managing a CRM system.
- Establish delivery procedures that include introductions to the service department and scheduling the first service appointment.
- Forecast sales goals and objectives, including gross revenue and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
