Join Our Team as a Sales Engineer! As a pivotal link between sales, technology, and clients, you will provide vital commercial-technical support to our Sales Team. Your expertise will play a significant role in driving the success of our sales initiatives and securing winning bids. Your technical proposals will be clear, well-structured, and customer-focused.
You will be part of a dynamic sales team, which includes the Sales Manager, two Account Managers, another Sales Engineer, and a Sales Assistant. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will collaborate closely with your team and other departments within Automatic Signal, such as Project Teams and the Service Department.
Your responsibilities as a Sales Engineer include:
Commercial-Technical Support & Strategy
· Providing technical advice to sales colleagues and project teams.
· Actively contributing to the development of sales strategies for clients and projects.
· Supporting the sales team in streamlining the sales process.
· Offering commercial and technical advice to internal teams (Sales, Service, Installation, Engineering).
Requests, Quotes & Budgets
· Developing requests and tenders for clients, advisors, or internal stakeholders (sales, engineering).
· Compiling quotes, technical schematics, budgets, and calculations.
· Assisting Account Managers with maintenance budgets and multi-year budgets (MJOB).
· Preparing product advice and requesting external quotes and technical documentation.
Relationship Management & Client Contact
· Maintaining and expanding relationships with clients and suppliers.
· Occasionally visiting clients for technical or commercial discussions.
Process Management & Quality Assurance
· Managing pricing lists.
· Reviewing and documenting your work according to established procedures.
