Sales Engineer - Developer-Focused
As a Sales Engineer at Firecrawl, you will collaborate closely with Account Executives and Founders to assist technical stakeholders — including engineers, data scientists, and AI/ML leads — in comprehending how Firecrawl addresses their most challenging web-data issues. In this pivotal role, you will conduct product demonstrations, develop prototypes, tackle complex technical inquiries, and ensure that every prospective client experiences that critical 'aha moment' when they realize how seamlessly Firecrawl's API integrates into their workflow. This is a high-impact position where you will shape product direction, contribute to integration designs, and define how Firecrawl is leveraged across engineering teams.
Compensation: $120,000–$220,000/year OTE (This range applies to U.S.-based employees in San Francisco, CA. Compensation for positions outside the U.S. will be adjusted fairly based on local living costs. Explore our calculation methodology here.)

Experience Required: 3+ years or equivalent experience in delivering technical solutions

Your Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Sales team to facilitate technical evaluations and discovery calls.
Conduct product demonstrations and proofs of concept: create and present technical walkthroughs and lightweight prototypes to demonstrate product value.
Analyze customer use cases, identify where Firecrawl fits, and illustrate the transition from unstructured web data to structured, LLM-ready output.
Gather and synthesize insights from the field to inform the product team on prioritizing roadmap items.
Enhance API documentation, develop sample projects, and contribute to internal training resources.
Translate technical challenges into actionable product enhancements.
