The Role
We are on the lookout for a motivated and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive the growth of Perlego’s B2B sector. Your primary focus will be on generating high-quality leads and constructing a robust pipeline through a combination of outbound prospecting, inbound lead management, and direct engagement.
Collaboration with Sales, RevOps, and Marketing teams will be key to ensuring our CRM data is precise, actionable, and in sync with our go-to-market strategy. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their sales career who thrives on hands-on prospecting, building relationships, and learning the intricacies of a contemporary B2B revenue engine.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and research prospective B2B clients across targeted segments and markets.
- Implement outbound prospecting strategies through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Utilize tools such as Clay, Lusha, Glyphic, and HubSpot to source, enrich, and manage leads efficiently.
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the Sales team.
Inbound Lead Management
- Respond promptly to and qualify incoming leads generated from marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and events.
- Facilitate timely follow-ups and ensure seamless transitions to Account Executives.
Events & In-Person Outreach
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to cultivate new leads.
- Represent Perlego in a professional manner while building rapport with potential clients.
CRM & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Maintain accurate records within HubSpot, ensuring contacts, companies, and activities are meticulously logged.
- Collaborate closely with RevOps and Marketing to enhance data quality, segmentation, and lead workflows.
- Provide insights on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and campaign performance.
