Your Role:
We are on the lookout for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to bolster our global market teams by engaging both inbound leads and conducting outbound prospecting. This position focuses on language-specific and regional coverage, partnering with a Drive Team (Sales Representative + Customer Success Manager) to promptly address inbound interest while proactively generating new business opportunities.
As an SDR at Instructure, you will often be the first point of contact for potential customers. This role demands exceptional communication skills and the ability to tell compelling stories; you will strive to comprehend each customer’s distinct context, identify their challenges, and link the appropriate Instructure solutions to their objectives. The most successful SDRs deliver value through insightful discovery and personalized outreach rather than mere activity.
Your Responsibilities:
Manage rapid response to inbound leads: qualify interest and arrange high-quality meetings efficiently.
Conduct regular outbound prospecting each week, irrespective of inbound activity.
Provide an exceptional buyer experience through effective communication, storytelling, and discovery-centered conversations.Investigate accounts and personas to customize messaging that resonates within your region and language market.
Collaborate with your Drive Team to synchronize territory strategies, target accounts, and follow-up initiatives.
Generate qualified business opportunities that are recognized by the Sales Representative and transitioned into an active pipeline.
Keep precise records of activities and pipeline status in Salesforce and other engagement tools.
Enhance outreach and qualification processes through ongoing coaching, iteration, and insights from the market.
