Sales Development Manager
As the Sales Development Manager at Billtrust, you will spearhead a dynamic team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) tasked with generating opportunities that fuel both new and ongoing business across various segments. Reporting to the Director of Sales Development, your role will encompass hiring, onboarding, training, and managing SDRs to meet our ambitious pipeline creation, acceleration, and bookings targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Sales Development team to achieve set goals and quotas.
- Collaborate with marketing professionals to execute multi-channel Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns through account development representatives.
- Provide reports on individual, segment, and team performance; maintain daily activity goals and regular reporting for business stakeholders.
- Strategically create, measure, and optimize outreach cadences, messaging, and techniques using A/B testing.
- Foster strong relationships with sales and marketing teams to enhance collaboration, gather feedback, and maximize SDR effectiveness.
- Design and maintain activity and performance dashboards to monitor team success.
- Update the SDR Playbook and enforce rules of engagement.
- Oversee monthly commissions reporting.
- Partner with sales training teams to enhance SDR skills in prospecting, objection handling, and product knowledge.
- Conduct monthly business reviews with the SDR team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and activity quotas.
- Capacity to guide the team within established frameworks and ensure timely follow-ups on tasks.
- Proficiency in working collaboratively across teams, learning new strategies, providing actionable feedback, and implementing improvements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
