About the Team
The Core Applications team is integral to Stripe's success, responsible for the administration and maintenance of critical systems such as Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Confluence, and Dropbox. As a SaaS Operations Engineer, you will bridge connections across Stripes globally, directly impacting our mission to enhance the digital economy. Your expertise will ensure our third-party applications, both cloud-based and on-premise, operate seamlessly, fostering collaboration and productivity while upholding our stringent security standards.
Your Role
In this pivotal position, you will be the service owner for several key SaaS applications. You will serve as a solutions architect, strategizing and overseeing the SaaS services that Stripe depends on. Your role involves addressing escalations from partner teams, participating in an on-call rotation, and operating within two-week sprints to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the final escalation point for Helpdesk agents regarding CoreApps-related issues.
- Integrate and support the seamless integration of SaaS applications within Stripe’s corporate technology ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition ownership of SaaS applications into the Corporate Technology organization.
- Lead initiatives to audit and enhance our SaaS portfolio, focusing on security, permissions, automation, scalability, user experience, and license optimization.
- Engage in renewal discussions with vendor partners to ensure optimal service agreements.
- Develop and implement programs to promote and drive adoption of new product features across the organization.
- Conduct regular user interviews to identify pain points, utilizing feedback to inform our strategic roadmap.
- Design innovative solutions, advocate for best practices, and exemplify leadership as the service owner as Stripe continues to evolve.
