About the Team:
The Fleet Operations Team is crucial in driving uptime and operational efficiency across Formic’s expanding fleet of deployed robotic systems. Operating within live manufacturing environments, this team is responsible for diagnosing issues, restoring production, and continuously enhancing system reliability on a large scale. Fleet Operations works at the intersection of robotics, controls, and real-world factory execution, ensuring that Formic’s automation consistently delivers measurable performance across various industrial applications.
About the Role:
As a Robotics Field Service Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical owner for Formic’s deployed robotic cells. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing failures, restoring systems to operational status, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and representing Formic directly within customer facilities.
This role requires a hands-on approach and a high level of accountability in uptime-critical environments. To succeed, you must possess strong troubleshooting skills, maintain composure during production interruptions, and ensure thorough documentation. Your contributions will have a direct impact on fleet performance, customer satisfaction, and the long-term reliability of our systems.
