Your Role at Raising Cane’s:
The Restaurant General Manager plays a pivotal role in steering the strategic vision of the restaurant. You will uphold operational standards and achieve outstanding results through effective people development, sales enhancement, and profit maximization. This position is dedicated to modeling and instilling Raising Cane’s cultural values among all employees, customers, and business partners.
Your work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, involving extensive physical activity such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending in both indoor and outdoor settings. You will interact with customers and work around food products, allergens, and industrial equipment, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Drive the overall financial success of the restaurant through meticulous forecasting and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and legal regulations.
- Oversee hiring and termination processes for management-level crew members, including payroll management.
- Design and implement work and training schedules for crew members.
- Foster the development of management-level crew members, including performance assessments.
- Act as the manager on duty, overseeing restaurant operations, cash handling, and opening and closing procedures.
- Analyze profit and loss statements, devising strategies to enhance financial and operational performance.
General Duties:
- Enforce Raising Cane’s policies and operational standards consistently.
- Utilize necessary tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution and document outcomes, taking corrective measures when necessary.
- Deploy crew members effectively during shifts while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Implement a reward and recognition program for crew members within the restaurant.
- Authorize employee functions requiring managerial approval (e.g., discounts, timeclock changes).
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational integrity of the restaurant.
- Achieve and sustain training restaurant status and performance metrics.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
