Position Overview:
The Research and Adjustments Associate plays a crucial role in investigating and fulfilling transaction research requests from internal SoFi staff and members. This includes a variety of transaction types such as ACH, Wires, Zelle, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards. The Associate will also ensure effective follow-up with members on research requests, adhering to regulatory timelines for resolution. Daily tasks involve conducting analyses, generating reports, processing transactions, entering data, monitoring automated file processing, assisting with daily settlements, and General Ledger (G/L) reconciliation. Consistently meeting deadlines and addressing operational issues to provide exceptional service to our member base is essential.
As part of a dynamic team, Back Office representatives deliver quality service and efficient operational support to internal and external business partners. They also provide training and guidance to less experienced team members. While some independent thought is encouraged, more complex issues should be referred to management. The working hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential adjustments based on workload demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively complete research requests for internal staff and customers with a strong sense of urgency, ensuring compliance with service and communication standards.
- Proactively manage follow-ups with members concerning research and other follow-up items as needed by members or banking partners, including transaction research involving ACH, Wires, and more.
