The Rental Service Agent position is a dual-focused role:
- Customer Experience Advocate for rentals
- Sales Specialist for RV demonstrations and conversions
This position plays a vital role in ensuring that customers depart satisfied, whether they are starting a rental adventure or investing in their future RV.
THE ROLE
The Rental Service Agent is responsible for executing all customer-facing rental operations and conducting professional RV sales demonstrations to convert leads into purchases. This dynamic, customer-centric role blends service, product presentation, operational execution, and follow-up sales management. Across rentals and sales, this role guarantees that every vehicle, interaction, and customer moment meets Indie Campers' high standards.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Customer Service & Operations: Conduct check-ins/check-outs, briefings, and ongoing rental support. Handle service recovery and emergencies with empathy.
- Sales Demonstrations & Customer Engagement: Prepare and perform RV demos, showcasing features, specifications, and customer-specific needs. Ensure smooth handovers and proper documentation.
- Sales Conversion & Lead Management: Track leads, demos, and follow-ups in CRM. Convert rental customers into sales opportunities and assist the RV Sales District and City Lead to meet targets.
- Product Knowledge & Technical Support: Maintain knowledge of Indie Campers RV models and conduct basic system demonstrations (lighting, gas, etc.). Troubleshoot and escalate issues as necessary.
