About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Content Writer to join our dynamic Marketing team. This position is a unique opportunity that combines product knowledge, market intelligence, and captivating storytelling.
As a Content Writer at Zyte, your primary responsibility will be to produce high-quality content that aligns with our strategic objectives and enhances our category presence. Engaging content is essential to reach our millions of users, potential customers, and developer communities effectively. Your writing must meet editorial-grade standards to resonate with our target audience.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust communications background and excel in discovering, articulating, and sharing compelling narratives that educate our customers, prospects, and the broader market. With extensive expertise across our leadership, engineering, and legal teams, you will develop content ranging from how-to articles on web scraping to thought leadership pieces on the future of our industry.
As Zyte’s Content Writer, you will:
- Identify and produce exceptional editorial-grade content by leveraging insights from our internal thought leaders in engineering, executive, and legal roles.
- Conduct interviews with technical experts at Zyte to create impactful long- and short-form content for marketing campaigns and social media, as well as for external publications.
- Generate content that supports our marketing initiatives and social media strategies.
- Craft messages that reinforce Zyte’s position as a leader in our category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, outline, and produce content that fuels our branding and demand generation efforts.
- Create thought-provoking, product-agnostic content suitable for major publications (content that resonates without being overly promotional).
- Consult with internal thought leaders on their content strategies and ghostwrite as needed.
- Adhere to the editorial calendar and meet deadlines consistently.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in journalism, corporate communications, or editorial roles.
- A portfolio showcasing your storytelling prowess through diverse content examples.
- A genuine curiosity that enhances your interviewing skills.
- Proficiency in identifying and developing story ideas that align with our product solutions and address challenges solved by our software.
- The ability to gain a deep understanding of the industry and communicate effectively with both developer and business leadership audiences.
- Experience pitching stories within an organization.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail.
