The Role
Are you a driven and technically adept Application Support Engineer? Join AlphaSights in maintaining the seamless operation of our technology platforms for our users. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our internal teams experience reliability and efficiency when using our systems. You will quickly resolve issues, identify recurring problems, and contribute to reducing future incidents.
Your role will combine hands-on troubleshooting with end-to-end ticket management, working closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers. You will dig deep into issues to uncover root causes, clearly communicate with stakeholders, and share insights with our product and engineering teams to enhance platform quality. Additionally, you will create comprehensive documentation and share knowledge that empowers the broader Application Support team to resolve issues more swiftly and consistently.
As part of our Technology Team, you will collaborate daily with Engineering and Product teams. From the outset, you will take ownership of significant responsibilities, managing your time and priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do
- Ticket Management: Provide dedicated support to internal employees addressing issues related to our technology platforms.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and troubleshoot user-reported issues, collaborating with Engineering & Product teams for complex bugs.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed information about features to assist the Application Support team in resolving user issues.
- Knowledge Sharing: Enhance the skills of the Application Support team regarding feature launches and known issues in your area.
- Trend Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and analyze tickets related to your focus area, regularly reporting findings to the Engineering & Product teams to inform improvements.
